If you are Adjusting Status (aka Adjustment of Status or I-485 or AOS) in the United States, a USCIS Doctor or Military Doctor will have to perform a medical examination on USCIS Form I-693. The Medical will focus on Vaccination, Blood Work, TB Screening, and a few other medical-related items. The end result is a Sealed Medical that would be valid for “60 days” and must be at USCIS (received and receipt given) before the expiration date.
Our office recommends the following USCIS Doctors due to their great track record with our clients. Choose the doctor’s office that is closest to you:
- Klein Health – FAA and Immigration Exams in Raleigh, NC(252) 329-0000
- following website: my.uscis.gov/findadoctor
Be aware that the Immigration Medical exam expires within 60 days of performing the Medical Examination. As such, it is our office policy to submit the USCIS Filing with the Medical within 45 days of Examination as to avoid any delays or requiring a new Immigration Medical.
